BAE Systems to produce prototype counter-radar system

A prototype system for detecting and countering emerging radar threats from air defense systems is to be produced by BAE Systems. The prototype is for Phase 2 of the Adaptive Radar Countermeasures program of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and will feature software algorithms that will enhance radar counter-measure capability without the need to upgrade electronic warfare system hardware.
