UTC delivers first sonar dome rubber window of new US Navy contract

UTC Aerospace Systems has delivered, on schedule and on budget, the first sonar dome rubber window to the U.S. Navy on a new five-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. This delivery marks the 345th surface ship sonar dome rubber window delivered to support the Navy Fleet. UTC Aerospace Systems' Engineered Polymer Products (EPP) team in Jacksonville, Florida, has supplied sonar domes for FFG-7, DDG-51, and CG-47 class ships to the U.S. Navy and allied navies for more than 50 years ... read more
