Russia ready for seeking a compromise with NATO on air defense

Russia is ready to discuss the prospects of further cooperation in air defense with NATO, the head of the Russian army's General Staff General Valery Gerasimov says. On Wednesday, Mr. Gerasimov took part in a meeting of heads of General Staffs of Russia and NATO countries in Brussels. NATO's plans include creating a network of air defense facilities and radars near Russia's European borders.
